Dr. Tritia M. Finley is the Owner and Founder of Elite Performance Counseling, PLLC (EPC), a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas and a National Certified Counselor. As EPC Owner/Founder, Dr. Finley is passionate about implementing culturally-sensitive and integrative counseling/consulting approaches, and for generating value for her company’s overall client-base. She champions EPC’s mission by ensuring constant, creative evolution and by equipping clients with tools for overcoming a variety of challenges “with genuine authority, authenticity, and success.” In action, Dr. Finley’s balanced disposition and personal appeal make people eager to work with her.
Tritia's 10-year training/work experience as an LPC includes psychiatric in/out-patient therapy, psycho-educational program management, graduate level adjunct faculty teaching, and private practice. She has been trained and supervised by leading industry experts in counseling philosophies, somatic/body-centered approaches to therapy, and cultural/ethnic conflict resolution. The breadth of Tritia's counseling experience has prompted invitations to participate in valuable community projects including professional guest speaking engagements for Lackland Independent School District (2017), Sophisticated Savage podcasts (2019), and San Antonio’s DreamWeek 2020.
Before her career as an entrepreneur and Doctor of Counseling Education and Supervision, Tritia dedicated 10 years to the Department of Defense as an active duty Air Force Officer and civilian employee. Over the course of her Federal employment, Tritia worked as an Occupational Analyst and Behavioral Scientist applying psychometric principles to develop Air Force (AF) promotion tests and conducted Emotional Intelligence Assessments and Evaluations on applicants for AF recruiting positions. Tritia’s outstanding job performance landed her a position as Junior Executive Officer where she provided directorate level policy/program assistance to recruit, train, and educate over 250,000 in-coming AF recruits and active duty Airman, annually.
Tritia was born in California and raised between Hawai’i and Japan. She moved to Texas in 2005 and has called San Antonio home ever since. Tritia is bilingual in Japanese and English, and has a true enthusiasm for sociopolitical issues, teaching/coaching, and business. Her set of unique personal, professional, and educational experiences give her the remarkable ability to synthesize cultural, economic, and sociopolitical forces that shape lives, communities, and organizations across the globe.
Tritia earned a Bachelors in Resolving Ethnic Conflicts in 2002, and a Master’s in Political Science (concentration: Race and Gender Relations) in 2005 from the University of Hawai’i. She also graduated with a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling (2014) from St. Mary’s University. Tritia earned a Doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision from St. Mary’s University in 2020 and is currently focused on growing her practice and other business ventures.
Paulina A. Macias, MS

As a counselor, Paulina believes everyone deserves a safe space to have their stories heard and feelings validated. Counseling can provide the necessary tools and guidance to help you grow, adapt, and evolve as an individual no matter what the circumstance. Her technique as a counselor involves creating and enhancing coping skills, reframing harmful thought processes, and exploring much more with clients. Most importantly, Paulina believes that catering my counseling skills specifically to her client's needs and goals are crucial in building a trusting therapeutic relationship.
Paulina provides counseling services in Spanish and has experience working one-on-one with children and teens between the ages of 6 and 18. She also has experience working with young adults who dealt with anxiety, stress, and relationship issues. Lastly, she enjoys facilitating psychoeducational groups on topics such as forming healthy relationships, effective communication, and emotion regulation. Paulina was born and raised in Laredo, TX and identifies as Mexican American. She has been living in San Antonio for four years and truly appreciate the cultural diversity of the city. Paulina is currently taking new clients.
